ep guy who is somewhat short and clearly desperate to regain his chips (he was first guy with over 1M, now has <300K), raises. next few fold, and big stack quickly shoves all-in. Clearly he wants to isolate the short-stack desperate player. I put him on hands such as big unpaired cards and medium pairs. AA and KK very unlikely, almost impossible. QQ unlikely but not impossible, even JJ not that likely. If you give him 66-JJ and all overcard combos to my TT, I am 60:40 favorite. If you remove JJ and TT from his range, I am almost 2:1. If I call all-in here, I am going to be getting better than 800K payoff on my 700K stack.

8-7 pay as 60:40 favorite sounds pretty good to me, even when we're down to 5 tables and survival has it's merits. It's an edge of almost 30%, so even at this stage, I can't see turning down the opportunity.

The only way folding is correct is if my assignment of a range of hands to the opponent is way off, and he could have all the overpairs, and few of the underpairs. Even if we assume he could have all of the overpairs, and only 99 as a possible underpair, I am a small favorite. And still getting paid 8-7.

Later, Greg Raymer (FossilMan)

This thread just proves why Greg Raymer is my favorite former champ.

What a stud to answer us loser critics!

VN Sample size, you can definitely tell who is a winning player after that many games no question.

As for the hand Im not looking at it too close may not be super standard(it may be superstandard but Im not paying much attn) but its certainly not spew, two tens + sunday million + fewer than 3 raises in front of you = profit
