200/400 td
co opens. he seems like a donar. maybe a little cooky. I defend 246 in bb and keep the 6. (?) he draws 2.
I catch an 8 and bet(?). he calls. I draw and catch a 5 and pat. he draws 2. I check(?). I figure if he makes any 8 hell bet and probably any 9. I don't think I can fold to a raise. I don't think hell call with worse than a 10. howd I do? |

Re: 200/400 td
Wait so bad cooky player draws 2 and you draw 1 and you aren't dark betting? I don't even understand. Nevermind that you actually caught.

Re: 200/400 td
I'm very confused. Did you miss a draw somewhere? It looks like maybe you're asking about the end 0:2, and I'd still bet every time here, for value but mostly because you should be snowing the hell out of this guy and you have to protect it with legitimate bets.

Re: 200/400 td
draw 1 i call pf, i draw to 246 - catch an 8
draw 2 i bet out, he calls, i draw to 2468 - catch a 5 draw 3, i pat sorry if my initial post looks confusing, but i dont think i missed any streets. badugi, you make a really good point about protecting my snows by making these value bets. and youre right i should be snowing a guy like this alot. tks |

Re: 200/400 td
hand is played well but this is super standard the whole way. your so far ahead on the end.. bet and expect him to call very lightly.. he may even raise u with a good 87 and u can call and ship it... i dunno the exact math but you gotta be at least 7-1 fav here
also im pretty curious about this 2/4 game your playing.. is it not the standard in the game to lead most pat 8s on the river into a drawing hand? All of the bigger triple draw games i have ever played are super aggresive and people are leading with far worse than what you had into people drawing one. Where was this played? |

Re: 200/400 td
I think it makes sense to lead slightly tighter into two-card draws than one-card draws, if they'll both pay off with the same range, because two-card draws are almost always drawing live. You also never want to throw a checkraise at a two-card draw, so you'll be betting all of your sevens, which means you can value bet against them about as often even though you're doing it a little tighter.
Most people who will pay a bet to draw two on the third draw will pay off with all sorts of strange things, though, so I view this as pretty much an autobet. |

Re: 200/400 td
This is the easiest value bet ever. Also this player is probably calling a lot lighter on the river than you think. Against a 1 draw here I'd bet 95432 and better like always. Against a 2 card draw and my pat I'm betting T6 for sure, maybe all my T and smooth J. He drew 2 so he is going to end up with lots of crap. As a result he will fall into the retard's thinking of "OH MAN HE'S PROBABLY BLUFFING". Strangely enough in this case he isn't far from the truth because you should snow against people that will draw 2 on the last draw a lot.
BTW if he bets here I would have c/r but I never would have checked anything unless it was something I was probably going to fold. |

Re: 200/400 td
