Party 50nl: facing river bet from a donk
Villian is 83/26 over 40 hands
I thought Villian had just open limped preflop hence the small 3-bet. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Party Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Button ($59.95) SB ($67.39) Hero ($49.25) UTG ($50.50) MP ($105.66) CO ($49.75) Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP raises to $1, 3 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, MP calls $1.50. Final Pot: $13.25 My fold to river bet statistic in PT is extremely high (~80%) and I am trying to plug this leak. Is this a good spot for a call? |

Easy call for me. Villain is bluffing more often than not here I think, especially after you checked twice.

Re: Party 50nl: facing river bet from a donk
Yeah I'd call. If villain had a Jack he would have gotten excited before this. The only conceivable hand he could have which beats you is a set of 5's.
The fact that your 9's block many of his straights makes this an easy call IMO. |

Looks like AK/AQ/KQ type hand, 86s+ type hand, maybe small pair. I am value betting river, calling a raise.
