KK vs short fish line check

Villain was the type of fish who will limp/call with ~atc preflop, but then goes into fit-or-fold mode postflop.
I didn't bet more on turn cause I didn't want to commit to a push.
By the river I felt that I was crushed against his range so I chose to just check/fold.

Is this OK ?

Yeah, turns and rivers don't get much worse for KK. You really don't beat anything now except a stone cold bluff, so check/folding is probably fine, but for $28, more often than not, I'm going to be a pay off monkey and find out.

We pretty much beat nothing on the river, good flop.

By fit or fold do u mean that if he doesnt hit he just mucks? If so, then turn should be a bigger bet, most big hands raise flop and if u dont think hes capable of floating with a high then just bet more on turn and call a shove, ull c hearts and an 8 a lot of the time IMO. Def fold river as played

I might ckeck turn &amp; check call river if 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]doesn't come off...as played, solid fold, you can't beat anything on river
