Here it is on their web site, about half way down.

http://www.mohegansun.com/projecthorizon/

I have been asking the old floor and dealers that I know, and it looks like it is pushed back some. So it will probably be somewhat later then spring 2008. I have my friends who will be telling me when they post internally for dealers, that's the first sign I am waiting to see.

LOL at accuracy of this report re. M Sun PR...reporter accepts at face value the whitewash b.s. about 2003's closing. I'm 100000% positive it had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with:

*supervisors running hookers in 'n out of the place 24/7
*cash cage personnel scouting big winners/bankrolls to be targets of several gangs & teams of hookers to get "rolled"
*cocktail servers doubling as drug runners
*dealers engaged in an on-going, organized, systematic skim of tourney re-buy cash
*and, the well-publicized at the time federal, state, local and tribal investigations into these and other activities

Foxwoods has another ad where the guys are playing poker with food (Pretzels, cookies, etc), and it seems only 1 of them knows the value of each one while the others think they are snacks, or a smaller denomination....LOL

The tag line is that Foxwoods is the only place in New England where you can play poker, so I guess they don't have Poker at Mohegan Sun. Are there plans for Poker at Mohegan Sun in the future?

They dodged the poker boom by closing it in 2003. They will reopen next year when hopefully it has all subsided.

Yes, this is copied from the website:

CASINO OF THE WIND:
Set to open in spring 2008, the Casino of the Wind will be located adjacent to the existing Casino of the Sky, and will feature a unique Mohegan Sun design that draws inspiration from solar phenomena. The focus of the space is an electronic and animated water wall, which acts as an immense projection screen for programmed video entertainment.

Features of the new Casino of the Wind will include:
42,000 square feet of gaming space, including 964 slot machines, 10 table games and House of Blues poker room with 45 tables 15,000 square-foot multi-level, high-energy, branded restaurant/bar
2,700 square-foot retail outlet
4,000 square-foot quick-serve dining outlet
