I also go to 24 Hour Fitness and had an unenjoyable experience when I forgot my card. I told her I forgot my card, handed her my ID, and she punched it in the computer. She said this is the last time we can let you in if you forget your card or else you will have to buy a new one. Her tone was extremely threatening for such a trivial matter. I simply said... ooooh im scared!!! and made a funny face at her.

I'm with surf. I'd understand if it were a free/cheap gym (you get what you pay for) but when you're shelling out $660 a year I think you deserve to be treated with some respect. Next time put him on the spot, and demand an apology or ask to speak with his supervisor. Then say, "this is MY house" and pound your chest with authority. Well, that last part was a joke but you get what I mean.

this is gay. I had my 24 hr. guy print me out a new temporary card. prob took him 2 or 3 minutes and he didn't mind at all.

wtf at people in this thread saying the OP being treated like this is no big deal. Am I being leveled? I don't care if he's paying $55 or $20 a month. He's a paying customer and the reason this douche has a job. OP doesn't deserve to be made to feel like [censored] for forgetting his card.

You can't see the difference between forgetting money for a grocery store, and forgetting your membership card for a gym where they can look up your info in 11 seconds? I mean really? You can't figure that one out?
