2 Interesting 2/4 hands
Hey guys. I don't normally post on here, preferring Cardrunners, but I thought I'd give it a shot as you all seem very MSNL savvy. Please check out these hands and let me know your thoughts.
Hand 1: I honestly have no clue why I limped behind dead money here. It was either a mistake, or my lunch conversation with several of my friends about how they limp SCs and small PPs behind a field of limpers had gotten to me. Villain's stats are 32/19 over 60 hands or so. We have no history and I rarely get out of line. Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver) SB ($390) BB ($619.10) UTG ($235.75) Hero ($398) CO ($393.80) Button ($176.25) Preflop: Hero is MP with 2, 2. UTG checks, Hero calls $4, 3 folds, BB raises to $20, UTG folds, Hero calls $16. Flop: ($46) 5, 9, T (2 players) BB bets $40, Hero calls $40. Turn: ($126) T (2 players) BB bets $100, Hero goes allin for $338. Final Pot: $326 Hand 2: Villain in this hand is 38/15 of 85 hands. He seems a bit fishy, but I don't really know for sure. I've seen him throw his stack in the middle before, but it's yet to go to showdown, so anything is possible. He hesitated for a split second longer than is typical before check/calling my flop bet. I could feel some weird thought process in his mind so I felt like he was planning to c/r the turn allin. But obviously I don't know if this is as a made hand or a bluff. Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver) Hero ($412.40) Button ($225) SB ($490.90) BB ($406) UTG ($444.05) MP ($368) Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, 9. UTG calls $4, 1 fold, Hero raises to $18, 3 folds, UTG calls $14. Flop: ($42) 8, 2, 4 (2 players) UTG checks, Hero bets $34, UTG calls $34. Turn: ($110) 3 (2 players)</font> UTG checks, Hero bets $90, UTG raises to $380, Hero calls allin. Final Pot: $960 Let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Ezra |

Re: 2 Interesting 2/4 hands
Hand 1: is pretty gross, if you are going to do this at least have some sort of bail out draw giving you some equity when called.
Hand 2: you beat nothing. |

Re: 2 Interesting 2/4 hands
you are basically drawing dead on the turn baluga style to like 85% of his range in hand 2, and 15% of his range is prob. drawing live.
hand 1 is meh, would help if u knew how often he was firing blank bullets multiple times etc. |

Re: 2 Interesting 2/4 hands
i'm a little afraid he'll call with overpair + diamond in hand 1, but if he's got half a brain he'll fold, so i don't really mind it. but the flop float is pretty awful imo
hand 2 blows, just check the turn. |
