Well if he is up $200k or whatever then he might feel willing to gamble with that money.. also the way he plays I just feel he is going to do something stupid. I get serious donkey vibes from him.

While it makes sense to talk about stuff that has happened on the show that aired, I don't know that this thread needs spoilers for things that have not happened yet.

I think it's natural to assume that "spoilers expected" refers to spoilers about this most recent episode.

Regardless, the spoiler in question was properly tagged, so no problem.

Not to mention the fact the spoiler was obviously a joke.

From what my inside sources told me expect a monster pot between Gold and Antonius. I'm not the spoiler type though so i won't say much more.

I'd bet my left nut that Esfandiari is totaly staked in this game.

I want to stake him...badly. "A9", "I think Doyle folded a flush", "A8, 84, Barry?" Sick, sick hand reading skills.

That much isn't really a spoiler, considering we see part of it in the teaser at the end of the episode. But the specific hand that was posted was obviously fake. Even if the cards they held were believable, there is no way they could have known the stack sizes for everyone at the table down to the $5 chips they use for tipping.

i agree... esfandiari get's no credit for his talent/skill/ability.

he's one of the better players there.

i doubt he's 100% staked. but i'm sure, just like many others, that he's not entirely on his own roll.

I would like to speculate on what the hand actually was though. Patrick said they got all in on the flop for at least 500k each. Someone else said they ran the turn and river three times, so if that is true it rules out any nut flush/straight vs. second nut type hands. So the hand was likely top set vs. 2nd set, or top set vs. a monster draw. I guess the nut straight vs. nut straight with a freeroll is also possible. I can't wait to see how the action goes to justify putting all that money in on the flop though.
