$400 hu TT on paired board for stacks
Only been playing villain for a couple minutes. $400 eff. stacks. He seems okay. I have TT in the bb. He raises to $14. I make it $42. He calls.
Flop: J22 I bet $56, he calls. Turn: J I check, he bets $98, I call. River: 6 I shove(around $200 left) |

i fail to see how his calling range > betting range on the river.

c/c>shove here IMO. Let him hang himself if he was floating.

i fail to see how his calling range > betting range on the river. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with this with the possible exception of 77-99. |

Re: $400 hu TT on paired board for stacks
Without reads I don't like this man. c/c is probably best. With a strong timing tell or something I might be able to find a fold here, but probably not

snowbank,
can you explain your line here? I respect your play so I'm trying to see the value in pushing this instead of c/calling. right now to me it seems spewy. But I'm open to new suggestions. |

Re: $400 hu TT on paired board for stacks
oh unless you put villain on an OP/ 2x and is capable of making a really really tough laydown.
or... its a super thin sexy value bet and you expect villain to call with like 88. but i would have to have a very specific read to make that move. |

Re: $400 hu TT on paired board for stacks
i'd much rather bet bet bet if you want to shove the river because there is no way you can show up with a bluff with this line

if you decide to go with the hand c/c is the way to go.
