I got the game yesterday, and I'm still struggling to beat the computer. I'm playing the crystal cup in normal mode.
I think my team selection may suck (for some reason, the only decent striking sidekick is playing defender position), but I find it a challenge to get to the knock out stages, let alone take the crystal cup down.

Also, in 10 first round matches, I'd typically get off two to four mega strikes in total if I'm lucky. I have to rely on passing and one-time shots to score which is pretty difficult with no decent strikers up front (Yoshi ain't that great striking either).

I'm on life tilt because of this game.

I'm probably going to be the only one on the whole thing to get to triple digit losses with a losing record. I'm like 20-30.

If I won even 1/3 of my sudden death matches I'd probably be easily over .500. I lose by 1 goal in every freaking match and I hate it so much.

how do you charge up the ball without passing? i've seen ppl online do it and of course the computer. i've read through the manual but don't see it =(

I'm something like 7-20, I'm terrible. I don't mind losing if it's against someone that is as sorry as me, I just hate the matches that I am totally dominated.

Same. I can't remember losing to a CPU after owning a game this long. Petey Pirahna is rigged.

also, has anyone able to get the "golden foot" award for striker cup? or beat the Yoshi challenge or the last two challenges?

I've gotten golden foot. Unlocks a stadium, forget which.

3 days in a row. my friend comes over. we play this stupid game. 3 days in a row diddy woops our ass. 3 days i feel like i've wasted my time. i love this game.
