Oh yeah, has anybody found a way to improve your chances of getting to the lob passes? In the lower cups if I sent in a cross with Toad I would pretty much automatically get a shot. Now that I'm playing the Striker cup the AI defender gets in there a lot and takes almost all 50/50 balls. I've also given up a couple of horrible goals when lobbing it back to my defender and having a nearby attacking player on the other team just bicycle it in. Some of them are just poor passes but like I said, I'm losing basically all the 50/50 balls.

The AI is so aggressive with the hitting, and even hits you in ways that aren't possible for you to hit them like two sidekicks hitting two of your guys at the same time. They also fairly regularly get goals by smashing you when both of you are going to the ball, sometimes even hitting two of your guys, and then scoring.

yeah that puts me on srs life tilt, to the point where i think its flat unfair, since none of my teammates ever shoulder charge with me. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

to clarify this i meant its kind of futile to try to hold the computer to less than a couple goals because they seem to score quite often on the higher levels. just have to outscore them i guess. its maddening when they block a 6 shot orange megastrike though
