Watching Deadwood now and loving it... so good, just about to start season 3 (the last).

I also tried watching the Wire.. only made it through 2-3 episodes before I was bored out of my mind and had no interest in the plot/characters.

If you haven't seen all of the Sopranos seasons, WATCH THOSE.

Also Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (which I just finished the two seasons of, great stuff).

I watched three full seasons and quit before finishing the series... the show just got tired after a while, same old cookie cutter characters with hardly any depth, plots that left me bored.

Although the sarcasm in House is entertaining....essentially every episode is the same.

This can be said for basically any show.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry will do something stupid and end up in a terribly awkward situation as a result.

Lost, something mysterious happens and there's another twist.

Arrested Development, family will mess stuff up and Michael will have to fix it

Anyway: Lost, Arrested Development, Curb, Scrubs, Sopranos, The Office, House are all worth checking out.

By the way, someone should delete that crazy huge spoiler about Lost that's in this thread.

I felt this way about this show right around the end of the third season, but it was just good enough to keep me going through seasons 4 and 5, which were very good(especially season 5). It's not The Wire, but then again, what is?

I completely quit on 24 during Season 4 and on Lost in Season 1. I hate those shows.
