Default Need help deciding between Macbook or something else

I currently play 10 tables on a Dell desktop but I'm interesting in switching to a laptop, and more specifically, to a Mac. I'm wondering how much of a hassle it is to play 10 tables w/ pt+hud on a Mac- I'm not much of a computer guy and if I'm going to have trouble getting that set-up, or have it really choppy or blurry it's not worth it.

So basically it comes down to how well the Mac can work for poker. I'll either get a Macbook Pro and use it for poker, or stay with my PC I guess, and just get a basic Macbook for my life. Obviously I'd prefer to have it all in one, with the Macbook Pro, but that's an extra $1000 and if it's not going to work well for poker it's not worth it to me.

I tried searching for some Mac threads and didn't find what I was looking for (and was surprised by that). Maybe I suck at search, I don't know.

Thanks

If you're on a mac, you'll probably have to install windows. This is easy. Then it'll essentially be a windows laptop.

Yes, Macbooks have Intel CPUs and are capable of running Windows, although there are performance issues.

Unless you want to play heavy 3D games, a Macbook does everything a PC does these days. They are good computers but a bit over-priced, I think.

A good PC alternative is the Lenove T-series.
