i like madden too because he is pretty much guaranteed to say something that i never knew or would not have noticed at least once a game. but he is starting to have more episodes where he attributes things to random things when there is a far more obvious explanation. i.e. blaming that first feeley pick on throwing off his back foot, when samuel had jumped the route before he let the ball go. he could have thrown a rocket at the sidelines and the only guy who had a chance at it would still have been asante.
but yeah, i still love madden, it just makes me sad when he says things and i'm like, 'that's not right john,' and then realize that john madden was wrong. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I guess it's remarkable that I'm surprised when Madden is wrong. I'm surprised when Joe Morgan et al. are right, so Madden is definitely a cut above, but he hasn't impressed me lately.
