Default Re: Sporting News simulating 1986 MLB season

Also, as a brag, here's the best game I ever had with my old OOTP5 KC Royals. You can see a couple familiar names on Minnesota (Shin-Soo Choo, Hector Luna, Casey Rogowski), but most of my roster is young, cheap, 5-star talent because the AI trading engine was a tad unbalanced.

So maybe it's not the most realistic (A. Smit giving up 22 runs for instance), it was still a lot of fun. Carlos Perez had very pedestrian talent ratings but cobbled together an MVP caliber season out of nowhere. Next year, he regressed to the mean (tho he got a big payday out of it). James Murillo and Ortho Gunning were my big free agent signings. Galindo, Burnette and Humphrey were sluggers who I got as top prospects in exchange for veterans. Alejandro Machado is a real person.
