don't got citation but pretty funny, subject of pot,

I've heard from people who know the bible that pot is ok (every green herb ...) , BUT, it is a capital crime to *smoke* it because smoking is witchcraft or something. same could be said for injection, etc.

interestingly I guess pot brownies are A-OK with god.

also other drugs are no good, sorcery, pharmacopia, something like that, and it says do no sorcery in bible, but I guess pot squeaks by since it is natural, and of course alchohol is specifically mentioned as A-OK, which the proviision as previously mentioned that drinking to excess (drunkard) is bad.

jesus said strong drink good for you, and genesis says all green herbs.

I'm open to changing my mind but all the evidence I've seen I'm 99% sure I'm right.

I thought that Moses heading down to the bottom of the field with his tent, telling all the others that noone was to go up to his tent or see him in it, and that he spent hours in there talking to various cloud-gods and burning bushes, was a pretty good promotion of shrooms.

Ok, with my knowledge of the bible, i'd say alcohol (wine in particular) is quite OK in a definitive way. I mean the dude JC is supposed to have made wine when they ran out.. So is fish and bread.. pot and any other chemical compound created since the bible was written is probably OK too. I can't think why their would be such a gap in the cammandements, revised for the NT!

It says not to be drunk

I know its not the same thing but certainly is similar

[/ QUOTE ]

Where?

[/ QUOTE ]

Ephesians 5:18 is one example: "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."

Also several passages in Proverbs, although one of which (Proverbs 31: 6-7) says: "Give strong drink to the one who is perishing, and wine to those in bitter distress; let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more."

So I guess the answer is it's a sin to get high if you're happy.
