Default 200 NL, I hate this spot with AA.

Villain 18/12 over 60 hands...

Poker Stars, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG+1: $265.90
UTG+2: $197
MP1: $106.60
MP2: $219.25
CO: $144.05
BTN: $201
SB: $40
BB: $334.55
Hero (UTG): $200

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $8</font>, 4 folds, CO calls $8, 3 folds

Flop: ($19) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $14</font>, CO calls $14

Turn: ($47) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $33</font>, CO calls $33
<font color="blue"> Bet/folding here is pretty standard I think. </font>

River: ($113) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $90 (he has $89 so this covers him)</font>
<font color="blue">Don't think I can do anything else here as I'm not folding to a bet, so I might as well shove for value myself.</font>

i play it the same. against many poor villains, he shows up with a really weak flush that he's afraid to raise the turn with (thinking you have a bigger flush).

way standard

I might check/give up the turn sometimes vs specific villains, but everything else is beyond standard

True. This is why I hate it, because sometimes they had me drawing dead on the turn, so the river ace only traps me into losing more money.

If it's a blank that falls on the river instead of the ace, how do you play it? Just check/fold?
