Default WCOOP PLO hand

Hey all,

Most of my PLO experience is w/ shorthanded play, so I am pretty unsure about situations like this.

1) Preflop: Bad/Marginal/Good?
2) Flop: ?

This is early in the 530 PLO WCOOP event. No where near the bubble, so no real tournament considerations, just take the hand fwiw. Also, I just moved tables, so no reads whatsoever.

Don't like the limp utg here. Flop is fine I think. Its early and theres so many bad players in this tourney that you can take this spot and try to build a stack. Odds are you're going to have to catch one of your outs, but with so many redraws against anything, I think its a fine spot to play for your stack.

Its fine. With that stack size he could easily be doing it with a hand like JJ39 or a wrap. Gambool gambool.

Reraising's bad here. You're going to be behind just about always. I'd call the flop raise and check/fold the turn unimproved. Probably check/raise if you hit since he'll have to fire again with either A3 or 32 (and he'll almost always have one of those two hands).

Personally I don't think you should be playing this hand from early position and early in the tournament.

What was the result, Did he have something like A3xx or 23xx?

not a good hand limp with utg. tough decision on the flop you're going to be behind %90 of the time, you should either stick it all in on flop or just muck you only have 500 involved so i lean towards folding

Preflop isn't great but people play so bad in these things I'd play every hand if I had chips.

fwiw he had dry a3, no bigger redraws.

I twodimes'd it and turns out i was 45/55. Obv whats most important is how i do vs his range there and i cant really figure omaha ranges like that.
