I lead 4 and hope it gets folded around. Fold if raised. Shut down on turn if called on flop, unless i improve.

If u play this way against every villian, u are missing a lot of value.

i hardly ever check fold if only one guy bets. I mostly just mix it up between betting and c/c'ing depending on the flow of the game.

I bet/fold the flop and turn lead the turn for 1/2-2/3 pot as well. If called twice I'd c/f the river.

To answer the first question. Because i have a good but not great hand that i don't want to get checked around because about half the deck are cards i don't wanna see on the turn. I'm happy to take it down right there on the flop.

Second question, because i'm betting into 3 people and i'm not likely to get called by anything worse, only real draws out there are gut shots. Maybe i get called by JT, T9, or T7, but thats about it. Also i don't play every villain this way, but since he gave no reads i just gave my default for a multi way pot.

To tell you why i don't check/call is because no one is likely to bet into 3 people with a hand worse then mine. And if i do get someone to bet on the flop and i just call his bet, i still could be faced with a really tough decision on the turn. Hence wanting to take it down on the flop.
