Re: What\'s my river play here against unknown?
Hero folds.
With an unknown I guess it's OK to call his CR on the turn, but if it's me, I'd tend to fold this small pot right there. There'll be other hands later where you can check him out. bc |

I think this is a close decision.
Personally, I think I would raise and call a reraise. |

I would call. I think you need to be cautious enough not to raise, because he is showing that he may have set a trap, but with top two, I think you have to call. There is enough in the pot to justify a call, IMO.

Re: What\'s my river play here against unknown?
except when it came to the badger avatar, but you luckily convinced me. (since I'd like to say the badger knows no fear, but I play like a pussy... lol)
Anyway some read would help, but generally I don't think he was semi bluff check raising his preflop limped flush draw and hit it... perhaps he had AQ, or maybe he limped some suited ace and hit two pair. All of that you beat. He could have a set too, then you lose. He could have 76 too, but then he won't 3 bet out of fear of the flush. I think this hand is going to be interesting when he 3 bets your river raise... do you call? Close. But you probably have to call. It sucks that the ace of spades is unaccounted for... |

I call expecting to see a set. Make a note if it's anything other than that.

Re: What\'s my river play here against unknown?
I think just calling here is in order. It seems you're going to win 1 bet if you're best, but lose 2 if you're beat, since you can't really fold to a 3-bet.
