Default Smart Computer PPL please READ -reformat help

Hey i know i dont post in OTT much, but please help me out guys, i know youre all smart. Im have a 2ghz HP a220n computer and its been takn me longer and longer to restart and do things (at about 4 minutes now). The computer is just getting old. I have never reformated but now is this time to get another year out of this thing. Iv backedup all my important documents/databases. I am runnning Windows XP sp2. I have no, or can not find anywhere, my reformat disks? Is there anyway to reformat this thing to factory state??? please help. Thank you in advance.

in response to my own post case anyone searchs this later.
you dont ned back up disks. this modle and many new hp modles have partitoned restore units built in.
when you restart computer you hold f10, and system restore program loads.

backup your stuff at ibackup.com free for 15day 5gb... this is not an advertisement, its just kicks ass and im useing it now.

Do you have your Windows XP cd? That's all you need to reformat your hard drive. There is not a separate reformat disk.
