Would the following scenario be possible ? :

- Hacker knows your screenname
- Hacker hacks your mailaccount which is regged with stars
- Hacker tries to login to stars, selects "i forgot my password", and enters your hacked mailadress. Note: This only works if the hacker knows your ZIP-Code (which is easy to get), and your Street-Address, which is not so easy....
- Hacker gets sent a new PW to your mailadress (which he has access to)
- Hacker logs into stars, and changes your email-adress
- Hacker steals ur moneys

Would it be possible that this was done by somebody who knows you (at least knows you good enough to know your street address) ?

hm, would also make sense. If he had access to his email account it should be very easy to get the street address. For example an order mail involves such data.
But he could also sent the password to the current email address. Wouldnt make any difference.

By the way. If you request your lost password you're getting send a temporarily password which you have to change once you login to your account. If loco could login with his default stars pw it should mean that the hacker knew the password. =(
