I like your play up until this point.

I'm trying to put the villain on a hand. All I can come up with are sets and possibly AJ (of spades?!). So, as usual with these difficult situations, you're either ahead, or WAY behind.

Maybe call and see what the river brings. With his high aggression, he could play a good AJ this way. However, when you call, you're committing over half of your stack!

Ugh.

Maybe this is a shove or fold situation?

I was kind of wondering whether maybe I should have checked this turn. There are some draws out there, but nothing too crazy, but when he raises he really puts me to the test here. Boy I wish I was in position, that would make this hand alot easier...

I tended to think of this a shove or fold once I got to this point.

Well, is this villain aggressive on the button in general? I think I'm raising you 100% of the time with AsJs and 9sTs. I'm raising you a lot with JsTs, QsJs and KsJs. I likely would have raised you on the flop if I had 88, 44 or JJ. Though I may have waited for the turn with JJ. He doesn't have 84, J8, or J6. Sort of unlikely, though not impossible that he has 86s. He doesn't have AA or KK. On balance, I think you beat more hands than you are beaten by, you have 30% of your stack in there already. If you think the villains raising range is more than "sets", then I think you stick it in and take your lumps.
