Default Any jackpot on these 3 poker rooms, Bellagio, Venetian and Wynn?

I'm playing $4-$8 this coming weekend, any jackpot promotion like bad beat or high hand they have on these 3 casinos, Bellagio, Venetian or Wynn. Thanks.

No jackpot promos at Venetian that I am aware of. The Harrahs properties have the biggest ones I believe - at least $55K for losing with quad 10's or better plus a high hand jackpot.

If you really want the chance to win a jackpot, just play at one of these places, put an extra dollar aside from each pot you win, then when you get done playing poker put that much money into a slot machine and see what you come up with.

But please don't make me play at a place where they take a dollar out of each of my pots to make me gamble it up when I don't want to...

If there is no jackpot drop, what is the rake structure in these rooms? 10% up to $3? $4?

$4 max rake or time charges. These 3 rooms have rake schedules on most of their games, not straight % rakes. And the schedules change for every single game. I believe the V's 1/2 NL game is the only one of which with a straight 10% to 4.

Well you picked the exact three casinos that spread 4-8 and also don't have any bad beat, high hand etc (in other words no dollar down the slot). Might as well throw in mirage, even tho they have 3-6, not 4-8. The biggest casinos have no need for such "promotions" as they will be busy either way.

I use the word promotions lightly because you used the term "bad beat" and BBJPs hardly qualify as a promotion. You see, promotion indicates that people actually come into the room as a result of something being offered. In vegas there are very few people who play in a given room due to a bbjp**, and on the strip there are virtually none. Thus any bbjp spread on the strip is pure folly and a waste of player's money.

High hand bonuses (and other promotions) that spread the money around to lots of players often do fulfill their function as a "promotion." The wheel at excalibur is an excellent example of a fine promotion that I think kicks butt.

Al

**the jackpot chasers, or "jackpot retirement plan players" are generally only found at the stations casinos

the spin the wheel at excalibur cracks me up. it s funny seeing players play their big hands weak so they can have like a 80% chance of winning $20. The highest demonination on the wheel is $100 and to win the max of $300 you have to first roll a triple then roll a $100.

most people i see win b/w $20-$40.

I'm living proof that dreams can come true at the Excalibur. Awhile back, spaceace, howardburroughs, myself, and a few others got together for some ultra drunken 2/4 preflop capping blind, pissing off the tourists game one night there. Spaceace cracked my AA that I 5 bet preflop and it was double wheel spin time. First spin, a DOUBLE shows up. So I run back to play my hand, head back to the wheel and hit the 100. Cheers/clapping literally erupts in the room at 3am as I'm handed 4 stacks of red chips as it was double whatever you win, so 200x2 FTW

Ahh yes, dreams do come true in Las Vegas!

Um, wait...if I'm dreaming about getting aces cracked at the Excalibur, does that prove there actually is something wrong with me? LOL
