Hi guys / gals

Im new to the forums, have been dedicating alot of time to poker recently and reading peoples opinions is part of that!

Thanks in advance to anyone answering any questions i may have, and apologies if This was not the correct place to post! :>

Ok so first question is, im playing heads up against an opponent who is very loose and calls alot. Below is the last hand i played against him and i wondered if anyone would have played it differently (i obviously thought i was the one trapping [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]


Seat 1: James086 (£24.17 in chips)
Seat 2: 2hi4me2cu (£15.28 in chips)
2hi4me2cu: posts small blind £0.15
James086: posts big blind £0.25

2hi4me2cu: raises to £1
James086: calls £0.75
----- FLOP ----- [Kc 8c Jd]
James086: checks
2hi4me2cu: bets £1.75
James086: calls £1.75
----- TURN ----- [Kc 8c Jd][Ah]
James086: checks
2hi4me2cu: bets £3.25
James086: calls £3.25
----- RIVER ----- [Kc 8c Jd Ah][4c]
James086: bets £9
2hi4me2cu: raises to £9.28 and is all-in
James086: calls £0.28
----- SHOW DOWN -----
2hi4me2cu: shows [9c Jc] (A Flush, King high)
James086: shows [Ac 7c] (A Flush, Ace high)
James086 collected £29.56 from Main pot

everything looks just fine.

dont think i`d have played it any differntly

this is a great example of a hand that shouldnt tilt you. dont let it.

I'm not one of 2+2s experts, but I can't find any fault with your play. When he bets on the river, you have to think that he may have the nut flush -- but you certainly have to see it.
