Default *** X-post *** Help w/ response ( BEAT)

My friend sent me this through email....before I respond, I would like to get some reactions from 2p2ers at small stakes...here's the email:

ok, so i just sat down with 75$ at a .50/1 and came in in the BB. 2
guys
limped and the button shoved for 100$. I have KQdd. I have 350 in my
BR...I called him. Without knowing what happened, do you like the

KQdd is a lucky hand. You should always call with this. Its the best, better than aces cos I always loose monies with them rockets...

If I had to make a quick rough estimate, I would say the shove would be queen high or worse 70% of the time. And the odd time he has aces or kings you are suited and suited cards win 80% of the time roughly.

When i first started playing poker i knew nothing about bankroll, reading opponents, solid strategy. I must have had a massive upswing because i moved up to 2 / 5 NL (£)

6 handed, i call the BB OOP and i get AA. I thought what the hell and banged it all in.

2 players there obviously thought the same thing you did, i flopped trips and hit quads on the river.

The monies got shipped!!!!

(((NOTE: I stayed at this table and got eaten alive after about 2 hours)))

Tell your friend to move up with that $350 br. No reason to play a 3/4 stack at NL 100 when you could be playing a 3/4 stack at NL 400.
