Didn't get a chance to watch the game, but the boxscore doesn't mention Wood (wasn't he supposed to pitch) and Marmol pitched 0.1 innings? Is he okay?

Wood didn't pitch, obv. Don't know why. Marmol is fine, they just brought him in to get out of the 8th.

Another blown opportunity to use Wood in the 9th in a low leverage situation, to see how he does and to give the fans what the want.

Feels good to luckbox a win for a change, though

Yeah, I would like to have seen Wood go in the 8th or 9th. 4 run lead - great opportunity to get in for an inning.

The gift in the game wasn't so much the safe call on Theriot, as I can't really blame the ump for missing it since it was so close, as it was the awful pitching by Maine.

By the way, I figured out what I love about Cubs day games: the endless array of shirtless guys.
