Default Pocket Queens in Vegas

So I am playing live 1/2 NL holdem $200 Max buy in at the Aladdin Casino in Las Vegas when I come across this hand.

I have been playing relatively tight, but getting hands and making people pay to see them. i.e. opening for 15 and raising limpers for 20 and have been getting paid off. My open for 15 had been getting about 1-2 callers as of late.

Anyway, I am on the button with QQ. I have about 8 limpers in front of me. (Pretty standard for this weak live game at the Aladdin) I raise 20 more and get one caller who was a middle position limper, this player was also relatively new to the table and I had no reads on his play.

(Total Pot: $58)

Two players to the flop and we see:

Ks 6d Kc

He checks, I bet 30, he raises to 70, I call 40 more.

(Total Pot: $198)

Turn is 4 of Diamonds. He pushes all in for 91 more.

(Total Pot: $289 and is $91 to call)

What is your line on this hand?

He checks I check. By betting you leave yourself open to getting outplayed or simply he has a K and you are putting money into the pot w/ a worse hand. I try to check it down and see a cheap showdown. The only place I would make a play is on the turn if he bet into me. A bet on the flop after being checked to does nothing and is so transparent it's like begging to be CR'd. I'd only do it if I had a K.

i'm fairly torn on how to play this flop. it's definitely WA/WB. if you bet and he does that donkish minraise he *probably* has some garbage like K9. but if you check, he might bet the turn with anything.

did you have any physical tells on him? did he kind of sit back quickly and then stare away when the flop hit?

No physical tells here. I kind of got the vibe that he knew how to play, but like I said, it was one of the first pots that he was involved in. I asked if he wanted me to call, and his response was "i dont care"

Check behind on flop. If he checks the turn, then bet close to pot. If he bets the turn strong on a blank (like here), I fold without reads (here again). Don't run your pocket pair into the ground on a dangerous board facing resistance.

Here is my opponents betting pattern I'm looking at for the entire hand:

Limp, call, check, raise, push.

So we check with AA too?
If we have J9 do we also check and play the turn like Tablerat suggest with QQ?
