What don't you understand? You can't [censored] extend your knee out to hit a player in his knee... it's sooooooo [censored] dangerous for both players. Watch the clip... these guys are PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY PLAYERS, hockey being a sport that requires SKATING. They have complete control over their legs for 99% of the game... Hartnell STUCK his leg out TO MAKE CONTACT with Cheechoo. The NHL has a rule against this.

Tell me how it's unintentional, please.

take off homer glasses, then we'll talk about this.

i've said my piece. i saw it several times last night and did not see any intent - i have certainly seen far less subtle kneeing penalties. if he meant to do it, he fooled me.

LMAO.... so far you've said:
"NO IT WASN'T INTENTIONAL"
and
"ME AND A FRIEND SAW IT, WE BOTH SAID IT'S NOT!"

Yeah, great argument for it being unintentional.

You even admitted he "stretched out" to make contact. But it's OK, because it was an "accident" that he hit him in the knee.

McSorely's tomahawk was an accident.... he didn't mean to hit him where he did. Should that have gone unpunished also?

If I go out in the street and fire an automatic weapon blindly, should I be held accountable for my actions?

Wow, after that argument, I'm done. A gun and a knee? You are clearly being irrational and illogical in this discussion.

You are the one that stated Hartnell stretched out. Or do you now take back that comment?

gg,

it's simple politeness to cut out extraneous quotes - i've done it a lot on this and other threads. i should've been more polite, however.

HOLY CHRIST! He stretched to make contact. He didn't stretch to bust Cheechoo's knee. Fluke accident. That play happens all the time without a knee hitting another knee.
