Regarding your preflop play I think this is a fold or shove situation. Your raise leaves you with &lt;10bb and you are raising from MP with a weak pair. You basically need to flop a set to be comfortable with your hand. As played either shove the flop or check\fold like you did. I wouldn't bet just T300 on this flop. Definitely shove or check behind.

plus one. With 12 BB or a M of 7, mid to low pocket pairs are not playable. When your M gets lower or your BB get down to around 9-10, they are good for pushing. So, this would be a push, or a fold.
