LOL @ cabn.

For me (Firefox) it's simply right click + view image. There may be an easier way but not only does the image name show up in the browser header but the image itself will be restored to its original size. Which is a bonus if it's a hot broad and kipin hasn't gotten to it yet.

actually, I use the dragdego extension, drag up and it views image in a new tab, but whatev

Your avatar is a great example of right click + view. Although I have no idea why you want Google links of Down's Syndrome as your avatar...
