I was writing in green because it makes it easier for me to find my last post. If it's that annoying, I'll move to black.

Both Calgary and Avs are coming off pretty ugly losses. However, I think the Avs will bounce back off their two losses against a division team they've beaten 7 straight times.

The Oiler v Canucks game was difficult for me. The Canucks are missing a components of their defense due to injury and Ohlund's slashing suspension, but they've still been on a tear.

Yes, the Oilers ended the Canucks streak against division rivals, but with the only puck hitting the back of the net coming on the third shoot-out attempt, we don't expect the Canucks to blow it again.

Plus, the Oilers just aren't good (3-8-1 division, 7-12-1 total?).

Good choice in moving to black type. For some reason the light green made me not take what you type seriously.

Anyways, how many units are you risking on your picks? I like to know the win-loss record and total units up or down as the season goes along.

We're recording everything in $1 units. Until recently we were picking 61%, a recent downturn has lowered that to a little above 52%. The units are down right now because of the lack of varying unit amount, line shopping, and betting every game (obviously doing it the way we are, the pick % must be higher to yield a positive ROI).

The objective is to see the overall win % after the season. To enjoy the game of hockey and to try and find a working system when it comes to game predictions.

Tonight you guys were right: 1 - 2

Boston 4 Toronto 2 +135 $1 pays $1.35
Vancouver 4 Edmonton 5 (O/S) -145 $1 losses $1
Colorado 1 Calgary 4 +115 $1 losses $1

Total: 1 - 2, - $0.65, -22% ROI

Big day tomorrow though. We're to pick 9 games.

PS: Coolmo, your free money was right. But that was some hard earned free money. Up 3 to lose the lead, then tie it. Then be down in S/O and have to save then score just to extend it. Wow! Luckily Vancouver sucked on the PK kill, what was Edmonton, 3 for 8?!

what is the bais of your "system"? It is not a system if you are just picking teams to win based on your opinion without telling anyone (or even having) any solid reason for picking one team over another.

Hmmm. I really hope it's not a "Register a new account, make tons of picks, hope we run good and can offer our daily picks for a small fee and if we run bad we'll just stop posting" project.
