Stupid question: Rain used to make my car look clean. With my new car, when it stops raining and the individual droplets left behind dry up it leaves ugly white spots on my car until I wash it. wtf???

Is waxing the ideal method of cleaning this or is it actually going to prevent this from happening?

waxing will help prevent it from happeniing. if your car is black, then youve just discovered that black cars are very hard to keep looking clean. much harder than other colors.

I was very into my cars for a while and this was the only thing I'd consider using. Got sooooooo many compliments asking if I washed my car every day, how it got so shiney, etc.

Set aside one Saturday, put on 4 or 5 coats, enjoy for years to come with only minor touch ups.

my poker mate had a fun sounding idea the other day. just move to thailand for 6 months.....

cost of living is incredibly cheap, so no need to withdraw money from the account very much, so save loads of money

plus it's supposed to be a pretty awesome place from all accounts

so just grind and party for 6 months and come back rich.

thoughts?
