jfish, do you seriously think he's going to put OP on 7x and fold any hand here? and i can see him raising 77 from sb and play it like this.

I figured he never has a 7 in his range. The only time he iso's OOP and calls a 3bet OOP with a 7 is when he has 77, and thats very rare as I would expect him to limp 77 preflop and fold it to my 3bet being OOP.

So basically I figured his range just about never has a 7, but my range has all sorts of 7's. I can have 67s, 78s, 77, A7s, and other random ass 7's if I'm being a spewtard.

I know that he shouldn't and probably will not fold a lot to the raise, but I thought that it was still very very +EV as he basically never has a 7 and he can fold sometimes.

You can?

I do like it though because he does not have a 7 like ever.

PiS.Toto and all the other PiS.xxx people (there are a handful) are all absolutely terrible regs. Look for PiS.Romeo (or something like that), he's my favorite by far. Huge spewtard.

Anyway, I'm not crazy about it because I think the fact that he bet this river means something. Does he really expect you to fold on the river, ever? why is he betting if not to induce a shove way more often than anyone in this thread has mentioned (actually, no one has mentioned the fact that he suddenly decided to bet river).

and if I'm villain i'm iso'ing with 77, 87s, 76s, A7s. is that actually bad? not saying that villain in this hand is doing that, but im curious as to why jfish thinks it's so unlikely

He probably views me as a random who might fold here.

Ok, but you are more aggressive than random Pis.Moron TAG. Also, are you calling a 3bet OOP with 77, 87s, 76s, A7s after 5x'ing from the SB?

adam,

come on, he can't be totally brain dead to think you're going to 4bet pf and then fold the 3rd nuts on the riv to a single bet

as for calling a 3bet pf, i'd call 77 and 87s/67 maybe 50% of the time. but i was just asking about why jfish was surprised at those hands being in villain's iso range, not his iso/call a 3bet range.
