Default Difference between PT and account balance

Hey,

Im playing on the iPoker network at the moment (Chilipoker) and am wondering about a discrepancy between poker tracker and my account balance..

My account balance is at 508.16 (having deposited 500) but on poker tracker im up 40.43. Is this a fault with poker tracker or some extra rake iPoker is taking or....????

Thanks for any help..

P.S. PT definately has all hands played and have not played anything other than hold'em poker (i.e. blackjack, omaha)

PT should keep track of rake. So I really have no idea how you have such a big difference. Only thing I can think of is you got sucked out on and left the table before the hand history was made. Or if you play tournaments make sure you import tournament summaries as well?

Don't play tourneys only 6-max. I also thought of that but the gap isn't consistent and seems to be growing the more hands I play..

By far the most likely explanation is that you don't have all the hands imported.

Start checking it out on a session by session basis. Next time you play, note how much you buy in for and have your PT stats screen up, filtered just for that day. You should be able to see when it goes off.

If you sit out or leave the table in the middle of a hand, that hand will not be saved on your disk and so won't be in your database. If these were hands that you say put money in the pot for before leaving the table, that would explain the difference.

Sometimes, not all hand histories are saved on your computer. If you go to the "Account" menu and look up your cash history, there is a button "Update Local Information" (or the like).
