Do you have the full drafts? Who was available each time you took MJD? It seems you were actively targeting him there. I'd prefer someone like Benson, who was probably available, in that spot. Fred Taylor certainly has some injury concerns, but I don't see him having a much smaller role this year, and I find it hard to believe that MJD and Barber will be able to maintain their absurd TD production from last year

Expert on SportsCenter said WR's shouldn't be taken early cause they're a dime/dozen, don't touch the ball as much as QB's, & there wasn't a big difference between the 30th & 60th best WR last yr. Anyone agree or would the consensus here be that he's an idiot?

RB's that went after MJD (1 round or less)
------
Team 1-McGahee, Bush, R Brown
Team 2-Duece, McGahee
Team 3-Duece M, McGahee

What's wrong with Baltimore as a 7th? My entire O was taken care of.

They shouldn't be taken in the first round. Guys like Smith, Harrison, and CJ should start coming off the board mid second round after the first and second tier backs are gone. In general, I'll consider taking Smith once LDT, Gore, Addai, Parker, Westbrook, Maroney, Bush, Henry, etc are gone, but ideally you'd usually like to get two of that group of guys

Charlie, pull the trigger on that henry trade. I don't even think its close. The value of adding another RB1 at your flex position greatly outweighs what you'll lose by downgrading at WR.

yeah the one thing i hate is being in a league where people are so afraid to make trades or demand way to much. I don't think he's going to do it...

One guy in my league actually wanted Frank Gore and J.P. Losman for Carson Palmer

Alright, I completed one of those football calculator mock drafts. 10 team draft, standard scoring. Let me know what you guys think. I had the third pick

1 - L Johnson (wanted to take Gore here, but the site timed out on me at the beginning of the draft)
2 - L Maroney
3 - C Benson
4 - L Evans
5 - P Burress
6 - B Edwards
7 - J Norwood
8 - J Cotchery
9 - D Foster
10 - M Turner
11 - V Young
12 - A Crumpler
13 - V Morency
14 - S Graham
15 - PIT DEF

Overall, I think it worked out well, I really like waiting for a QB and stocking up on RBs with upside, and I feel like I was able to do both of those successfully in this draft. I struggled with my WR picks in rounds 4-6. I have such a hard time valuing these guys against each other.

Here's the complete draft for reference Draft Site

Looks nice, loving the strength in depth at RB, obviously you'd want Gore instead of LJ but w/e. Crumpler at 12 looks like a steal. WR may be a bit weak but you'd have trading options if this wasn't just a mock.

Trying one myself in about 10 minutes, will see how it goes.

[edit - never mind, that site is [censored], obviously doesn't work in Firefox]

I do like Bush, but isn't he still RB #2 in NO?

I do like McGahee too (BAL Oline>>BUF Oline), but I thought he was hurt last year, I take it he's better now?

Thanks for the help.
