sharkscope a must have for HU-Sng's??

Hi,
i heart about sharkscope some time ago and try it.
This Site locks pretty nice.
Is it possiple to get an good edge at the 50$-100$ hu Sng's ??
I mean this is the only chance to make "tablesection" ins Sng's or?
Is it a must have at the 50$+ buyins?

it could be helpful but I never use it. I take pride in knowing that I can beat even the winning players. As a matter of fact, some of the winning players are easier for me.

Yeah I didnt buy it until i got to the 50s. I like having it.

While it is nice to dominate a winning player, your longterm winrate will be higher if you play more losers.

Yah I think u r possibly right. So exactly how do u use it? Do you have a subscription? Just see if they are winning before u sit? I assume u never sit first?

yeah i bought 2 months with neteller. if someone is sitting I SS them, and unless they have a solid ROI I sit.

Sometimes I do sit first though. Usually during low traffic times when it is hard to find people sitting. Once someone sits with me I SS them, and have a little bit of info on how they might play before playing a hand.

just out of curiosity, how many % points would u estimate that you gain from SS?

hmm, tough one to answer. Its probably stopped me from sitting with about 10 sharks so far. And therefore has saved me around $100 in lost EV assuming I can average 70% against fish and 55% against sharks.

I'd estimate it could bump a 62%er up to 66%, so I'd estimate you would gain around 3% - 8% ROI depending on how you use it.

I agree with your estimate dboy but Ive stopped using sharkscope in anything less than a 200 because of the lost time/annoyance in waiting for an opponent to sit and search them.

The problem is to sharkscope the villain before you sit down because often you dont have enough time before another player sits down. A better strategy is to sit down as the second player because the second player is more likely to be a fish.

But its helpful to find out how good the villain is after you sit down. Its also helpful if you know what levels he play and other information for example if he lost the last 6 SNG in a row.

I don't use it all that often for villain selection. I hate looking someone up, finding out they are a fish, and the table not being available anymore. I do however look up all of my opponents in the minute I have after we both sit down. Also, poker ace hu displays the stats that I have stored on my opponent which obviously helps.
