PS. villain was new to the table and bought in short. I *always* have problems with mid pps against shorties so any advice would be cool.

Make it 5 and fold to further aggression.
Those donks mean different things, depending on villain. I can see him doing this with a FD, so he gets cheap to the turn, but he could do this with an 8 as well. |
