Mother, father, wife, sister, best friend, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandmother, the Pope, the Dalai Llama, several fraternity brothers (I think I'm totally safe with five of them). So 15, I guess.

In addition to some of my family, I would pick rich people(Gates, Buffet) who I would be 99% sure they wouldn't care about 10 million.

How could you be 99% sure some total stranger who loves money would spare your life? You would seriously be willing to gamble your life in that scenerio for a measly $10K?

Not only that but now that Gates/Buffet are spending most of their time giving their money away to make the world a better place they might make a cold rational decision and say that the life of one random person is worth less than what they could do with another "measly" 10 mil.
