Before, it seemed like the legal questions were geared toward Absolute as a corporate entity. Is there any kind of legal action that can be taken against Scott Tom personally, or are jurisdiction type issues still problematic?

I would really reconsider the whole 'playing at AP' thing

Also, since it seemed to be skipped over, pokerstars.com, ultimatebet.com and fulltiltpoker.com are all hosted at MIT, along with many other gambling sites.

The important things to take away from the whole rivieraltd.com thing was:

Uses same NS servers as AP.

Was pointing to a block of IPs given to AP by MIT.

More importantly, all the DNS records (both A and MX) for that domain have now been pulled from colosseum.com's NS servers, although the mail server is still running. Scott is paying attention to this thread it looks like...

That change was made within the last two hours or so because when I did a dig of it before I got MX records pointing to mail.rivieraltd.com which had an A record pointing to 66.212.244.147, an IP given to Absolute Entertainment by MIT.

This is bad and I would imagine more changes are to follow... I know the text is available for the records that used to be there, did any of the guys investigating this happen to take screenshots of that info for information/evidence?

I don't understand how the blog entry fits in. The IP address that Potripper used matches the IP address from which the blog entry was made. And the blog entry mentions spending time at a party with Scott Tom. Am I missing a logical step here that leads to the conclusion that Scott Tom is potripper?

SL__72,

Can you explain that? I am not a DNS expert.

Exciting implications incoming:

If you guys remember, there were two people watching Potripper's table. One is #363; the other is assumed to be Potripper. That second account's email address is scott@rivieraltd.com.

I have talked to a lot of people around the poker world about the IP address used by #363 and the rivieraltd.com email. The IP address cross-references to someone named Scott Tom, who also appears to be an owner at AP. It should also be noted that the first part of the rivieraltd.com email is "scott@".

edited post to be clearer

Pokermachine, our relentless AP spammer in the zoo, was a Tom posting from an IP in CR related to AP. The Watchdog posted from the same ip.

I'm not familiar with the zoo and its spammers, could someone explain who Pokermachine is and who The Watchdog is, and how this relates to scotttom? I'm assuming scotttom was an actual poster in that forum? bleh, I'm confused

Pokermachine's posts can be found here:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/dosear...&fromprof=1

His last post is an admission he is high up in AP. As Adanthar posted the login name after I brought up this is Pokermachine is our Scott Tom. Virtually all of his posts were UB or AP spam. The IP's need to me matched to the $1000 MTT if they have not already. The Watchdog posted from the same IP as Pokermachine talking about how exciting it was AP's new software was coming out.

The blog entry was just a result for a google search that said "absolute poker scott tom" IIRC. So it's only point was to show that scott tom is CEO and owner of absolute. I think.
