Default 2-4 Party is equal to what level in Vegas?

While searching another topic in the forums I came across this:

[ QUOTE ]
So if you are comfortable playing higher the 8-16 at Wynn might have about the skill level you are used to from Party.

[/ QUOTE ]

Would people agree with this? If your a winning player at Party 2-4 will you be able to beat an 8-16 game in Vegas?

Yeah you should. Higher than $8-16 it depends alot from game to game. I've played some $15-30 that was very weak, but also played some $10-20 that was tough. Just scope the game out for a little while before sitting to get a feel for it.

In AC the 20/40 is softer than party 2/4. I'd assume similar in vegas. Just watch the table for an orbit or two before sitting down.

If you can get over the amount of money you might lose in a routine hand, you'll be fine. Calling a river bet for $4 is easy, but you might incorrectly think twice when it's $40. Just something to be aware of ahead of time.

On the verge of extinction in Vegas. The only ones left are at Mirage (rock garden) or Red Rock (far from the Strip).

Easier to find a 9/18 or 15/30.

The 20/40 at foxwoods is generally softer than Party 2/4 games. Much as the NL 2/5 games are similar to the Party NL25 - NL50 games. so sad..

Outside of the ridiculous $2/$4 to $4/$8 and the big boys, limit itself is an endangered species and the 4/8 is becoming pretty scarce. Learn to play NL for fun and profit.
