*October TLB 2 Player Teams Contest* Interest Thread

hi guys, just seeing if theres any interest in this, i've posted about this before and there was minor interest. I lack motivation to play poker really, so hopefully puttin in alot of volume will be able to take me to the next level, so i've decided to see if I can get a TLB contest going to help me get that volume in. With about ~25 days till October so plenty of time to figure this all out.

-Pokerstars
-2 person teams
-2 tiers ($200 per team and $1k per team, maybe higher (?))
-Using Stars TLB system
-Good amount of scores to count? I was thinking top 25 per person. Or maybe just top 50 per team, so if one person carries the other team member, that would be fine.
-Figure out pay structure, but should be pretty standard, etc.


Post here if any interest. If I can get 5 or so teams i'll go ahead and make a October TLB sign up thread and try to get the ball rolling. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

yeah, that's what I figured, but I think we'll have a hard time figuring out all the scoring if we were multi-siting (FTP + PS will be good since they are easily the biggest), i dunno. basically whatever works for the most people is cool with me. just made this thread to see if we can get a TLB contest going, and sort out all the details in this thread.

Yeah I would be down for this although being someone with a job it is going to be very hard for us working folks to compete.

Sorry to say that challenges like these aren't exactly intended for casual players. He's looking at hosting a competition that entails each team playing hundreds of tournaments within a one month time frame in order to get him playing on a regular schedule again. Obviously, anyone with a job would have a hard time with that kind of schedule, which leads me to think it's geared more towards grinders, pros and degens.

Id like to do this as im getting into high volume MTT play now for the next few months.

If you wanted to run it across multiple sites - you could just apply the same formula to FTP tourneys or whatever.

Any chance you could make this 3 person teams? Also I think multiple sites would be best to make this more challenging. All you have to do is come with the list of tournaments that apply to the contest or we could just use all of them, and all results could be verified either by opr or support. If you need help, I'd help running it.
