Default 88 v. LAG

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/4
Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $443.20
BB: $381.50
UTG: $237
MP: $648
Hero (CO): $398
BTN: $394

Preflop: Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP raises to $14, Hero calls $14, 3 folds

Flop: ($34) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP bets $20, Hero calls $20

Turn: ($74) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP bets $44, Hero calls $44

River: ($162) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP bets $112, Hero folds

1. MP was playing 43/20 but this was only after about 30-35 hands. Should I dismiss his stats on and fold the flop or assume him to be a LAG and call him more lightly? If the second, should my line be any different?

2. If you think my stats should be dismissed and I should fold the flop then let's assume his stats are correct ... how do you play this hand?

Thanks,

I would just fold the flop. However if you call the turn then you should really call the river. I mean are you really calling for a 2 outer otherwise you are folding?? Like I say, I would probably just fold the flop anyway.

Vs a big time LAG i'm probably playing it the same, but with your sample size i'm more inclined to fold flop.

Agreed. Folding this flop is super weak.

1) It misses him ALOT.

2) People generally will slowdown on this dry boards w/ a high card, putting you on top pair and realizing there are not scare cards to get you to fold.

The turn is a fold usually, although I sometimes call it and see a river.
