Do you guys like the turn bet? I am not a fan of two barreling this board. Once you get to the river if you don't think he has the flush and he isn't a station firing the third barrel looks good.

Also re the chance of him having a flush -- it is really hard to make a read against a relatively unknown player. I could definitely see him showing up with a flush there (much more than .1%), although a lot of tags would semibluff. But as Ansky pointed out it is over too small a sample size.

sorry ansky, i mean, i dont think villain has the nuts here often at all, which is really important when bluffing. when i bluff and there is a good chance my opponent has an easy call, im making a pretty big mistake, no?

plus, although it's a typical 3barrel type deal, why cant we have the nuts? (or any flush, which to me is the nuts here) thats another important factor, we can have a big hand often. right?

so, you merge the two, and combined with the price he's laying to pick up the pot, this could work.

is it the best move? i dunno. hopefully, for OP's sake, it was.

I figure JQ or set woudl have raised somehwere in this hand. I duno if I'd try these plays cuz they're sorta suicide. Nobody's EVER vbetting this river without a flush, so its flush or nothing. IMO, your line doesn't look like a FD, so I think he's jus c/c u whole way with like KQ or QT. I mean, this hand makes him look a little callish. BTW, I don't like your betting when your hand does have some showdown value. C/c turn MAYBE, but at least check this river. Turning a decent hand into a bluff is not a good idea i dun think.

This is the correct answer I think.

Alright well obviously I lost this particular hand. Villain ran his timer down to like the last tenth and called with KQ.

I was thinking about it afterwards and still thought it was a good bet on my part, mainly for all the reasons Bobbo stated. Seems like most people disagree with me though

Of course, if he's calling here as much as some people are saying, i guess i shouldn't be saying "how can I bluff better here" and instead should be asking "how can i get more value out of made hands?"

What exactly should be my range here to make it unprofitable for him to look me up with KQ here?

I think this is an interesting stove/math problem. I'm too lazy to do it though.
