Prefer to check and see how they go post flop, we still get to see how the RR reacts to the PFR and this will put the RR in a worse spot

This is a ridiculously tough spot. I've decided to call, because I think raising or jamming are super -cEV. If we raise or jam, we definitely fold out smaller pairs, and even though it's 6-handed, I think we're probably folding out AK as well. I guess I'll fold pre if the original raiser comes over the top, although AK is definitely in his range for doing that if we call.

Post flop has too many variables and players to come up with a plan yet, I'll come up with one after the flop. I think the fact that if we see a flop it will be 3-way will make the hand easier to play.

yea he was. and keep in mind this was with 11 people left, 13 hours into the tournament, 1st place 170k, 6th - 12th 6.3k, so the stakes were high! Great discussion so far, keep it up, and thank you charder for posting this hand for me

if the utg raiser is really aggro I would expect reraiser to have at least a few more hands in his range that you beat. This is why I like shoving instead of taking a flop 3 handed.

I remember thinking the weakest hand the dude would be repop would be AQ and even then it seemed pretty iffy. Plus we got two of them so its unlikely.
