Hand from deep in 6 max wcoop
hand was played by my friend zugwat, lets do this hand in stages, starting with preflop
reads OR raiser: Aggro but smart Reraiser: Typical TAg, but seemed competent. Hero: Pretty Lag, has shown down some weak hands, but nothing big. General consensus that you see in cash game discussions is to call in this spot. However, in cash games stacks are usually bit deeper, so there is more room to manouver postflop. In addition, by cold calling here any semi-competent villain can narrow our range very much. It can be very difficult to get any action postflop from hands that we beat.
With these stack sizes shoving could be a real possibility. If you are calling preflop, are you willing to put all your money in on a T74 rainbow flop? Btw. Would you set mine 88 or 99 here?

Set mining here with 88 or 99 and like 75 BBs is pretty bad, too, for a couple reasons. First, you're not closing the action. Hard to mine a set when UTG reraises and you're forced to fold! Also, you're simply not deep enough. You have to stack at least one of them pretty much every time you hit a set, and you can't really expect that to happen. I would lean towards wagering all my chips here; I wouldn't expect JJ-TT to fold here, and I don't particularly expect AK to fold either.

If we could work out and be confident that shoving was plus cEV after assessing their raising and calling ranges then that is what I would like to do. If we call here I think we make big mistakes post - flop a lot given our position and stacksizes. And like, I don't want to fold.
