Re: Miss Teen USA - South Carolina answers a ?, hilarity ensues
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] when i saw the video, it wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it was going to be. she was nervous and am not sure how people think they can make assumptions about her intelligence. especially if they watched her on the today show where she was articulate and very likable. [/ QUOTE ] I really don't think it's that much worse than what Joe Morgan does every single Sunday night on ESPN. Yes, I'm completely serious. He's somewhat more polished at not being able to make sense or somehow put together a complete sentence but it's really not that different. [/ QUOTE ] Watch Bill Walton do commentary for the USA in the FIBA. It's about as bad as this. He just rambles about the most random crap ever b/c the games are so rediculously boring. It's the worst commentary I've ever heard. [/ QUOTE ] I don't mind Walton actually and think his commentary is occasionally worthwhile. Don't exactly love him. But he doesn't life-tilt me like Morgan. Looked up this past Sunday's game on mlb.tv and tried to find an example: "And um again, you know if..I..think we'll have to wait and see what he does the next time and the time after that but I figured that he would pitch very well tonight because once you go home and you sit around for a little while you realize you love this game and I want to get back and uh he came back with a bang tonight because they definitely needed you know a well-pitched ball-game from David Wells and they got that." |

Re: Miss Teen USA - South Carolina answers a ?, hilarity ensues
you have a hard time believing that 1/5th of Americans have little common sense/basic intelligence. Please don't deviate from your normal routine. Your head will explode due to the high frequency of encounters with people that you hope never reproduce.

Re: Miss Teen USA - South Carolina answers a ?, hilarity ensues
"I personaly believe that US Americans are unable to do so because... some a... people out there in our nation don't have vance (sic) and I believe that our education such as South Africa and the Iraq everywhere like such as and I believe that they should... our education over here in the US should help the US, or should help South Africa, and should help Iraq and the Asian countries so we should be able to build up our future... for our children."

Re: Miss Teen USA - South Carolina answers a ?, hilarity ensues
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] And seriously, its a retarded question. How can you answer that in 30 seconds, or under a minute (can't remember the time limit)? Somebody post a good answer, I can't think of one. All you can say in that time is spout platitudes about improving education. [/ QUOTE ] That's all you're expected to do. Make up some crap about improving education. Surely she's rehearsed the "improving education" question 5 billion times. Stupid question? Yes. Easy to answer? Definitely. [/ QUOTE ] And yet you didn't answer it. |
