Thanks

what does this mean?

This happened when it was installing everything, at the very end of the postgreSQL installation

run installation as admin maybe?

i'm running PT on vista as well. you might have to play around with the properties of the SQL service, but i'm not sure. i've heard that's fairly rare

This, and you *must* disable UAC during the installation routine. You can turn it on again after if you like.

kind of OT but,

i'm unable to change the "privilege level" settings on any of my .exe's. the "run as admin" tick is greyed out. i guess i must have changed a setting somewhere, do you know offhand which it might be?

i've been googling and can't come up with anything

Hi, I installed PostgreSQL successfully and converted my DB successfully.

When I began my first session with my db converted to postgreSQL, the following popped up for every attempted imported hand:

How do I fix this?

Also, for PostgreSQL settings, do I choose Unicode or ANSI for 'ODBC Entry To Use'?

Thanks
