Re: 3 Handed w/ Trips
[ QUOTE ]
I agree with you guys, I just went with my read. Can't blame me for that. I don't know if you guys play live poker or exclusively online but reading abilities do come into play and he was very confident. [/ QUOTE ] I've played live just a little bit, but reads are overrated imo. Just my belief, but too many players try to overdo that portion of the game. There is a place where we can lay down a hand bc of a read, but not here, never. We all make the mistakes sometimes, don't sweat it. |

Re: 3 Handed w/ Trips
I really can't see myself folding this hand. I were actually trying to add "unless I have a super tell", but even then I would have to call because of the A kicker.

[/ QUOTE ] A8s is a hand I would defend against button 3x raise pretty much every time, especially when SB sweetens the pot. Im gonna let it go vs a c-bet unless I connect though.. Also I think I would 3-bet sometimes vs a button hoping to fold them out, and lead flop if one calls.. Leak? |

I think it's a pretty standard call to a button raise. Also, the thought of re-raising preflop did cross my mind also but the fact that the SB called slowed me down a little. |
