Straddle Question

In NLHE are double straddles (and to a lesser extent triple) allowed? This issue came up in our last home game where we play .25/.50 and people occasionally put a dollar straddle on. What are the exact rules on the double straddle?

its casino/game specific. if youre not sure, usually it is not live and you cant act unless someone raises. just ask or in your case, develop a rule.

AFAK its normally a double straddle (2x the bb, in this case 2 time 0.50 = 1 dollar).
